At San Demetrio, the care in quality starts with the preparation of the soil and continues
with a careful selection of seeds and cuttings, using natural repellents and bioinsecticides and a harvest
in the most absolute respect of biological maturation times.
Medicinal plants are placed in thermoventilated driers at low temperatures,
able to preserve the organoleptic characteristics of the product,
and are always subject to strict quality controls carried out by qualified personnel at the testing laboratory
that the Commercial Farm is equipped with.
Even the "San Demetrio" Herbal Mill, that processes medicinal plants from crops in semi-finished and finished quality products,
operates in close connection with the practices of the Organic Commercial Farm:
herbal teas and infusion preparations, mother tinctures, fluid extracts, E.P.I.D. R (Extract of Hydrodispersible De-waxed Propolis)
and extra virgin olive oil. This allows the implementation of the entire production cycle starting from the raw materials.
